Change can sometimes be scary, but not in this case!
If you’ve played Prince William Golf Course frequently over the past few years, you might have noticed some changes have been occurring at the course.
Way back in 2011, the original clubhouse (an old farm house) was destroyed. Temporarily the facility operated with a small trailer as the "clubhouse". Then in 2012, the current clubhouse opened. Though not a big building, it does the job and continues the "quaint" feel of a simple country golf course.
Starting in September of 2016, we addressed one of our most complained about areas – our cart paths. Before, sections of the paths were full of pot holes and cracked areas that created a bumpy and rough ride around the course. But those areas have been torn up and newly paved for a smooth journey.
After addressing the cart paths, we took aim at our range net. For a while wind damage left us with a net that was tattered and torn and flailing in the slightest breeze. Now we have a brand new net that extends all along the east end of our range. This new net helps protect cars in our parking lot and as vehicles are coming down our drive way.
Our next item is a big one. Now that we have repaired our cart paths, we’re hoping to get an entire new fleet of golf carts before the end of 2017. Our current fleet of carts has treated us very well for the last five years or so. But we’re definitely excited to bring on a brand new fleet to improve your experience at our facility.
