GREENS AERATION, September 7th and 8th, 2010

Starting Tuesday, September 7th, the maintenance staff at Prince William Golf Club will be aerating greens. The process of hollow-tine aeration is lengthy and labor intensive. Due to the agronomic importance of this process, the golf course will close the front 9 September 7th and the back 9 September 8th. We will be offering a $5 discount for this inconvenience. Registration Now Open

We are currently accepting players for both the 2010 Club Championship and for the Prince William Cup.
Club Championship will be held September 18th and 19th at 9:00 am Prince William Golf Club. The fee is $90 per player and includes greens fee, cart fee, range balls lunch and prizes for both days. The format is a 36-hole, flighted, stroke-play event. Please contact Tom Miller at (703)-754-7111 for more information.
Prince William Cup will be held at all three of the Park Authority golf course on September 24th, 25th and 26th. The fee is $120 per player and includes greens fees, cart fees, range balls, a gift, and a champions dinner. The format is a three day Ryder Cup style event. Patriot Golf Weekend

Prince William Golf Course is a proud participant in Patriot Golf Weekend. September 3rd, 4th, and 5th we will be raising money for educational opportunities for those who have lost loved ones while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. We will be offering a $10 discount for all active military this weekend. In addition, we will be giving a free small bucket of range balls with any donation made. Those donations made using an American Express card will be matched by American Express. We will also be hosting a complimentary golf clinic on Sept.4th from 10 am-11 am. All golf shirts will be marked down by 30% and active military will be given an additional 10% off. This is a great way to get some swings in while showing your patriotic side.

New Clubhouse

Starting Thursday, August 19th we will be moving into a temporary clubhouse while we begin construction on our new modern facility. We are very excited about our new building and would like to thank all of our golfing enthusiasts for your patience during this transition. We promise that you will be pleased with the permanent improvements once our new building is completed.
